Jordan Grey (Born Jack Wiegand, 1985-present) is a Native American essayist, poet, and writer of speculative fiction. He lives in Salem, Oregon with his loving wife and their cat, Grayson. While his feline companion's name is similar to his own, he does not count himself among the thirty percent of authors who choose a pen-name to match the name of their cat. However, not one to violate too many authorial stereotypes, he does have a ponytail.

While he neither enjoys nor understands the industry convention of writing about oneself in the third person, he does enjoy reading, cooking, video games, photography, and British comedy. He is also an outspoken secular humanist and an advocate of sex positivity in art culture.

Among his achievements he counts publication of short fiction and poetry in multiple anthologies, and a short stint as a contributor for ANewTake.com, an online arts & culture magazine.

When he is not sweating blood in front of his keyboard, he spends his time in study. He is currently working on an undergraduate degree at Chemeketa Community College, while ultimately pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing, and a minor in Medieval Studies.
